Sr. Accountant
Slate is a new US company focusing on electric vehicle development, seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant.
Skills
- Experience with manufacturing accounting
- Preparing financial statements and reports
- Implementing new accounting procedures
- Strong analytical and judgment skills
- Effective communication
- Ability to manage multiple assignments
Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations
- Assist in the monthly close process
- Prepare monthly financial reports
- Support the annual audit process
- Manage the purchase order accrual
- Active involvement in ERP implementation planning
- Prepare work instructions for recurring accounting activities
- Work with FP&A on budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with strong internal controls
- Help implement necessary systems for becoming a public company
Education
- B.S. in Accounting
- Current CPA license preferred
