Job Accountabilities

$500 Sign On Bonus

Salary: Base wage starts at $23.00

Hours: Monday to Friday 7 AM to 3 PM.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Receipt of incoming materials, supplies, equipment, etc.
  • Check received goods against purchase orders and packing slip.
    • Check quantity, type, size, part numbers, etc. to properly identify materials.
      • Call Plant Superintendent on over shipments.
      • Call Purchasing on under shipments if an allocation for the shortage.
      • Questions on outside service go to Plant Superintendent right away.
      • Call Purchasing immediately on any damaged parts.
    • Issue to travelers.
    • Packing slip attached to purchase order.
  • Call Purchasing about a vendor not following Wissota’s procedures.
    • Labeled with our part numbers.
    • Boxing parts by assemblies.
    • No packing slip.
    • No inspection sheets, if required.
  • Maintain stock records in accordance with established control systems as to receipt, issuance, returns, etc.
  • Route or deliver materials to manufacturing and shipping areas.
  • File paperwork accurately (Travelers and Purchase orders).
  • Take inventories as directed.
  • Do proper paperwork on returns.
  • Make sure parts are packaged correctly for storage.
  • Parts need to be signed out of the inventory room.
  • Double check pulled parts shelf when not busy.
  • Use forklift to unload truck.
  • Use Cribmaster for tooling management.
  • Prepare & issue materials for travelers going to the shop floor
  • Prepare parts for outside service.
Job Requirements
  • Five years of related experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel & Word)
  • Proficient with ProfitKey software, within 1 month.
  • Excellent detail orientation.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Ability to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications.
  • Work well in a team or self-directed atmosphere.
