The American Hospital Association (AHA) is a national organization that represents and serves all types of hospitals, health care networks, and their patients and communities. The AHA has two main offices, located in Washington, D.C. and Chicago. We are currently seeking a Receptionist for our Washington, DC office.
Starting base salary = $32,000 - $40,000 a year (commensurate with related experience).
Represent the American Hospital Association (AHA) in a public relations capacity as the first contact the public has with the Association. As the first impression for the AHA, greet all visitors and staff in a courteous, friendly manner making the visit to the AHA Washington Office a positive experience. Assist Administrative Services and other departments as needed with various administrative duties. Assist visitors and members with Wi-fi access in an expeditious manner and manage the process. A resource for visitors and the membership in making transportation and administrative arrangements and acting as a concierge in providing information about the Washington Metropolitan area. The official work hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with an unpaid one hour lunch break.
