We are seeking a Nashville based Reconciliation Oversight Analyst to join our Portfolio Administration Team in Global Technology & Operations.
Who You'll Work With:
The Global Portfolio Administration department provides operational support to the firms Institutional, Private Client and Retail business channels through client servicing, account reconciliation and portfolio administration. The Portfolio Administration team is responsible for the governance and oversight of all daily reconciliation. Portfolio Administration is also responsible for retained activities including evaluating the operational impact of tactical/strategic upgrades to Alliance Bernstein’s infrastructure, client due diligence meetings, and working with internal/external audit to satisfy regulatory requirements. The overall responsibility is to achieve operational excellence by consistently providing a superior level of service to our clients while improving efficiencies without compromising controls or risk management discipline.
The Portfolio Administration team services several internal and external applications. On a daily basis the Analyst will use Microsoft Office; internal applications such as CTC, PMS, ACE, ERP, EPA, BOSS, and AB Advantage, along with external and potentially new applications that include Bloomberg as well as a number of custodian websites.
What You'll Do:
Within Portfolio Administration, the individual will be responsible for the execution of daily reconciliation oversight controls. This includes interaction with AB Sales and Portfolio Management teams, Auditors, Operations and Custodian banks. The individual will be expected to work within the framework of the team and will need to be able to communicate effectively with various internal and external clients.
Daily monitoring and evidencing of oversight controls related to reconciliation. Accurate and timely completion of daily reconciliations. Working collaboratively internal and external stakeholders. Participation in various firm initiatives and working groups participation in internal/external audit best practice discussions. This role involves in multiple automation testing, coordination with tech & business team, onboarding new accounts, thinking outside box & making process more efficient.
This role pushes "Out of the Box" thinking, problem solving and modernize the process with the help of latest technology.
Exposure to work with multiple internal parties like Portfolio management group, Sales, middle office, operations, technology team along with global banks & custodians.
What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or another relevant discipline. Has 2+ years’ experience in business operations, working with a team and meeting time sensitive deadlines. We will also consider strong candidates that are recent college graduates with internship experience.
