In our global Early Careers team, we are responsible for engaging, hiring, and developing a diverse base of talent across Expedia Group, globally. This includes hiring and developing interns, apprentices, and university graduates from a myriad of backgrounds and cultures across three continents. We are on a journey to transform how we empower early in career talent and breaking down barriers on our way.

We are looking for an experienced Early Careers recruiting specialist based in Seattle, WA to combine their passion for early careers recruiting and campus engagement to build robust talent pipelines for our early career hires. What you’ll do:

Working as part of our Early Careers Recruiting team your primary role will focus on sourcing and recruiting all entry-level hiring year-round of our Intern and Graduate Program. You will partner closely with the Global Regional Managers to support hiring goals in each region. As part of this role, you will:

  • Manage end-to-end recruiting process for global early careers hires year-round including peak hiring seasons and all ad hoc hiring
  • Act as sourcer for ad hoc hiring utilizing Early Careers resources and tools with a keen focus on developing a diverse talent pipeline
  • Champion inclusion and belonging, putting it at the heart of the program experience
  • Develop, promote, and act as an advocate to drive a simplified recruiting process to build a world-class candidate and manager experience
  • Support relationships with EC attraction channels – campus, vendor, student group, non for profit, etc to ensure robust engagement and healthy candidate pipeline
  • Support Campus Teams of Expedians on campus, via interviews, etc.
  • Work collaboratively, putting the goals of the team and business first, embodying Expedia Group's Mission, Purpose & Values

Who You Are:

  • You can manage a large number of requisitions at once with varying levels of complexity
  • You bring a source-first mentality, schedule time for searching for passive candidates and strive to find the best people in the industry
  • You are passionate about embedding inclusion and belonging into the employee experience
  • You are process driven and always look for ways to improve existing processes including documentation, collaboration with team members, and recruiting tools
  • You have an ability to prioritize, stay organized, set clear expectations, and drive the hiring process while delivering expert support and results
  • You have strong analytical skills with the ability to create, measure, and scale optimal workflow between candidates, managers, and the recruiting team
  • You have demonstrated experience being adaptable in changing and evolving situations and work environments; you act quickly, even if it means going outside of your comfort zone because you love to learn
  • You demonstrate optimism every day and show a strong desire to succeed and thrive while keeping a positive attitude and bringing your team members along with you
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and are excited by chances to define and build something from nothing
  • You can travel 10-15% throughout the year as needed to engage with students on campus or at events and to meet face to face with your team.
