About Convert & Recruitics:

Convert, a product of Recruitics, is a pioneering platform designed to redefine the candidate experience in recruitment. As we push the boundaries of technology in recruitment marketing, we are in search of a Lead Engineer who can steer our engineering efforts, driving innovation and excellence. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building scalable, high-performance technology solutions.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the architecture, design, and development of the Convert platform, focusing on high availability and scalability.
  • Develop front-end interfaces with React and back-end services using Python, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Leverage GraphQL to interface with the data warehouse.
  • Drive the adoption of modern software engineering practices such as CI/CD, containerization, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate business needs into technical specifications and actionable plans.
  • Mentor and guide a team of developers, fostering an environment of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Modern API patterns.
  • Ensure robustness, performance, and security of the Convert platform through comprehensive testing and maintenance protocols.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and propose ways to leverage them for product enhancements.
  • Kubernetes experience is a plus.

 

 

 

 

Who You Are:

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or experience equivalent).
  • Extensive experience in software development, with a deep technical proficiency in Typescript, Python, React, and AWS.
  • Proven track record in software architecture and designing scalable systems.
  • Strong familiarity with modern development practices and technologies such as microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving technological excellence.
  • Outstanding problem-solving abilities and a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively articulating technical challenges and solutions to stakeholders.
  • Redshift experience is a plus.
  • Looker experience is a plus.

  • $131k-$180k/yr salary (depending on experience)
