About The Role


Hightouch is looking for a Recruiting & People Ops Coordinator to join our small but mighty people team!


You will be responsible for supporting and up-leveling the Recruiting & People team. You will partner directly with our recruiters & hiring managers to create a world-class candidate experience. You will identify problems, find solutions, and create a white glove experience both internally for employees and externally for candidates.


This is a contract to hire role, and the pay for this role is $37/hr, 40 hours per week. Benefits are not included until you are converted to full-time (which we expect will be within ~6 months, based on performance and business need).

This role is located in San Francisco.


How you’ll spend your time


Your time will be split with three main responsibilities - recruiting, people ops, and workplace ops coordination. Your main responsibility will be recruiting coordination.


Responsibilities:


  1. Recruiting Coordination (70%)
  2. You will support recruiters by owning the entire coordination experience for candidates end to end
  3. You will up-level our candidate experience and build efficient recruiting practices using our recruiting tech stack — greenhouse, gem, interviewplanner, etc
  4. You will audit and up-level our internal Hiring Manager & interviewer experience
  5. You will have professional, clear, and concise written and verbal communication with all of your stakeholders: candidates, hiring managers, interviewers, and all employees
  6. You will partner with the People team on projects and initiatives as needed
  7. You will manage and maintain our ATS (Greenhouse)
  8. People Ops Coordination (20%)
  9. You will own and manage new hire onboarding coordination (purchasing equipment, HR paperwork, background check, scheduling new hire sessions, etc)
  10. You will manage Rippling administration — leave, PTO, comp changes, etc
  11. You will manage all benefits and compliance questions
  12. You will respond to or route employee inquiries urgently and confidentially
  13. Workplace Ops Coordination (10%)

You will be the main point of contact for our workplace vendors:

  1. Snacks/ food delivery
  2. Janitorial services
  3. Plumbing
  4. Any workplace issues
  5. You will respond to or route our subtenants inquiries urgently and confidentially


About You


  • College degree is required
  • 1+ years of experience, ideally in recruiting coordination at a high growth early stage startup (open to new grad candidates if you’ve had really strong internships that required organizational skills)
  • You lead with urgency and are proactive in everything you do on a daily basis
  • You are constantly thinking about how to solve problems and improve processes (you will come to me and tell me something is broken and provide a solution without me having to ask you)
  • You are able to multitask and navigate challenging situations with urgency and in a timely manner
  • You have a strong attention to detail — nothing will get past you
  • You show curiosity in every stage of your work
  • You are extremely organized
  • You have a growth mindset, are energetic, positive, and excited to learn
