Business Development Internship Opportunity

Camelot Wealth Management Partners is one of the largest Ameriprise independent teams, and we are looking to hire an intern to help us build our pipeline of Advisors.

We are looking to hire an intern to help support this initiative on a short-term basis, with potential for a long-term role.

You will be a key part of our recruitment operation. Your job will primarily focus on building the pipeline of Associate Financial Advisors. You will also assist in scheduling and confirming meetings, getting materials ready, coordinating recruiting events, and working with the Ameriprise Field Recruiting Team to maintain contact with the pipeline. You will also spend time researching opportunities and working with outside recruiters.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in a Business Development career. This is also a great way to see most aspects of an Independent Financial Practice. In this role, you will have a first-hand view of how a business scales up, meeting the financial requirements of both Financial Advisors and Business Owners. . You will have the opportunity to write up contracts and deals and attend negotiation meetings.

Skills Needed:

· Communication (comfortable “cold calling” with a script)

· Organization/attention to detail (using CRM to document calls and timely next steps, updating scripts, creating email templates)

· Powerpoint (Create decks/agendas for each meeting)

· LinkedIn

Job Hours and Role overview:

- 3 days/week

- $15/hour

- 3- to 6- Month Contract

- You will report directly to Erin Byington, Operations Director

You will be joining a highly professional, client-focused, and dedicated team of Advisors and Staff and will gain insight into, knowledge of, and hands-on experience in the recruitment industry.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Internship

Pay: $14.25 - $16.00 per hour
