Company DescriptionThe SrManager, Outbound Logistics leads a team and partners very closely with Red Bull's third-party logistics provider to ensure Red Bull product is delivered to our Distributor, RBDC, & Direct Customer warehouses on-time, in-full, and at a competitive costThe SrManager, Outbound Logistics' team is a customer support function for the Order Management & Sales teams, assisting with logistics-related problem solving, carrier performance management, freight claims, customer inquiries, & customer invoice deduction managementThis team is also responsible for day-to-day oversight of the transportation operation at Red Bull's Lagerhaus locationThey work closely with the Lagerhaus Operations team to ensure the carrier trailer pool is properly maintained, and carrier performance meets stringent standardsYou will also coordinate both internally and externally to forecast & plan adequate outbound transportation capacities across the Red Bull network to support core & promotional volume activityJob DescriptionLOGISTICS EXECUTIONLead outbound Geodis Transportation performance monitoring & continuous improvementDevelop outbound forecasting and capacity planning process to enable optimal network execution for core & promotional activityManage escalations related to customer delivery performance issuesLead year-end delivery management process to achieve on Company targetsPartner with Order Management as well as Sales & Distribution management to ensure customer logistics needs & KPIs are always metCOST & PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENTCo-lead annual transportation RFP & AnalysisMonitor bid-board activity reporting & implement strategies to improve cost performanceClosely monitor & analyze Geodis & carrier performance on Routing Guide Compliance utilizing reporting from TM team -- optimize cost & performanceDevelop & monitor KPIs related to on-time pickup & delivery performanceLAGERHAUS TRANSPORTATION OPERATIONSSchedule and lead quarterly carrier meetings focused on Lagerhaus executionSet strategy and monitor overall Lagerhaus trailer pool performanceInternal/external escalation point for Lagerhaus transportation challenges & problem solvingFREIGHT CLAIMSMonitor & assist with email follow-through on any compromised loads -- become expert on SOPs for different scenarios, work with Quality team, and instruct internal/external accordinglyManage & monitor Geodis freight claims using Geodis-reporting & Zen Desk reporting from Logistics Coordinator -- maximize payouts & scrutinize carrier denialsPEOPLE MANAGEMENTLead & mentor a high-performing team of managers and coordinatorsConduct reviews with team members, set yearly goals and support their professional growthResponsible for the hiring process of new team members as neededQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or related field5+ years of experience in Logistics roles such as: Logistics Manager, Transportation Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Logistics Planner, Transportation Planner, Carrier Development, Logistics Analyst, Supply Chain Manager, Operations ManagerSelf-motivated team member who can drive issue resolution with strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindsetAnalytical skills, including the ability to interpret KPIs, monitor for trends, and identify areas of opportunity to improve cost and execution performanceStrong time management skills to prioritize projects & tasks in a fast-paced environmentExperience managing or working for third-party logistics providers, carriers, or brokersExperience with ERP, TM, & WMS software (SAP &/or Mercury Gate preferred)Advanced user in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Additional InformationOur current Benefits include:Comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision Plans, 401k Match, Family Leave, PTO & Paid Holiday Schedule, Pet, Legal, and Life Insurance, Tuition Reimbursement (Benefits listed may vary depending on the nature of your employment and/or work location)Red Bull North America, Incis an Equal Opportunity Employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, veteran status, age, or any other classification protected by Federal, state, or local law.
