Trade Marketing Manager

As the Trade Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the development and coordination of the trade marketing activities to maximize the potential of the Red Bull brand in the trade whilst maintaining the brand personality & values. You will lead the instore activity strategy of the sales team and enable the execution of that strategy via sales teams. This includes all means of communication (internal, trade & shopper), internal coordination between marketing and sales, POS development and implementation. You will be expected to achieve this with deep understanding of sales and Trades/Retailers. 

TRADE MARKETING KOWLEDGE & CAPABILITY

You will develop trade marketing strategies, utilizing trade and marketing experience to recommend best trade-led activities. You will also recommend and support trade activity proposals with commercial backing, pushing the brand guidelines whilst protecting the brand image.Additionally, you will create and develop all channels of communication that contribute to the timely execution of Red Bull initiatives at internal, trade or shopper level. 

COORDINATION OF SALES AND MARKETING ACTIVITIES

You will convert the national marketing plan into specific retail strategies, spearhead and foster proactive collaboration between Marketing and Sales, and work with the Key Account team to innovate and enhance in-store sales and brand visibility. You will be required to utilize both direct and electronic communication to guide the brand team to execute comprehensive in-store promotions. Additionally, you will be expected to ensure that trade marketing efforts are consistent across different customers and channels.

POS TOOS IMPLEMENTATION AND DEVELOPMENT /ADAPTATION

You will be expexted to use the global POS toolkit effectively to maintain brand guidelines and representation, and to meet financial and country-specific objectives. 

TRAINING OF PERFECT STORE AND LEAD IMPROVEMENT OF INSTORE EXECUTION QUALITY

You will guide the field sales and key account team in optimal store training and enhance in-store execution by providing direction and feedback on their initiatives.

BUDGET AND PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

You will carefully manage the trade marketing budget for maximum ROI and lead a team of two specialists towards successful development.

 

• University Degree (business, marketing or similar)
• 5 years in FMCG sector with a Trade Marketing experience. Sales experience is highly preferred.
• Clear understanding of markets, sales & customers, competitor activity, consumer behavior in FMCG context
• Fluent in written and spoken English and native level in Japanese
• Strong skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) 
• Leadership, Team management, Presentation, Budget control skills
