The Red Hat IT Enterprise Applications team is seeking a technical ANAPLAN Specialist - SPM (Sales Performance Management) to join our team. This role will work within the agile process and with the Product Manager to be the final authority for decisions regarding priority, business value, and functionality for all the work done by the Agile technical development team. You will possess an in-depth knowledge on business vision, customer context and business process along with a deep technical understanding of Anaplan functionality and design best practices. The PO is the primary customer advocate and primary link to the business and technology strategy. This enables the technical product team to balance the needs of multiple stakeholders while continuously evolving the Solution. You will need great communication skills with a global focus.
What you will do:
Connect and collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze needs and align the SPM product roadmap to strategic goals
Understand the functional Sales Performance Management business processes (Account/Territory/Quota Management and Topline Planning, ICM is a plus)
Understand business value related to features and functions and consult on best practices
Work closely with product manager and business teams to create and maintain product backlog according to business value or ROI
Remain up to date on trends and best practices for agile delivery aligning to department standards
Plan and prioritize product development and product feature backlog
Develop detailed product feature specifications and ensure they’re clearly understood by relevant teams
Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work aligns with product strategy
Mitigate roadblocks to achieving sprint/release goals
Lead the product-release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities
Serve as product ambassador sharing knowledge and answering questions to showcase expertise in Anaplan modeling, integration, and data hub functionalities.
Provide architectural guidance and establish best practices for design and development in Anaplan including data integrations across initiatives within SPM
What you will bring:
2+ years experience in Anaplan implementations (Certified Solution Architect or Master Anaplanner preferred)
2+ years experience in Production Support for large Anaplan models, troubleshooting, prioritizing support tickets and resolution
3+ years of experience in product development
2+ years working as business analyst or product owner in the Sales Performance Management domain
Knowledge of agile methodology for project management
Knowledge of testing practices and techniques.
Bachelor’s degree in related field
Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to effectively manage conflicting needs of stakeholders
