Redwood Materials was founded in 2017 to create a circular supply chain for electric vehicles and clean energy products, making them more sustainable and driving down the cost for batteries. We’re doing this by developing and deploying new technologies to increase the scope and scale of recycled and sustainable materials in the global battery supply chain.

Recruiting Operations Manager 

Redwood Materials is seeking a proactive, strategic Recruiting Operations Manager to join our growing Recruiting team. The Recruiting Operations Manager will be responsible for developing and administering talent acquisition programs, tools/systems, analytics, and processes that drive efficiency and operational excellence. 

Responsibilities will include: 

  • Lead the identification, development, and execution of talent acquisition solutions across the recruitment function. 
  • Oversee and manage recruiting team projects, programs, and workstreams. 
  • Serve as the recruiting operations subject matter expert and point of contact for the internal talent acquisition team, business partners, and external parties. 
  • Partner closely with HR, Legal, IT, Finance, and other cross-functional teams. 
  • Help spearhead key TA programs, including but not limited to Mobility, Branding, and DE&I. 
  • Develop and maintain standardized workflows, templates, and guidelines for recruiters and coordinators to follow throughout the recruitment lifecycle. 
  • Create scalable processes that streamline and enhance the recruiting experience for candidates and the business. 
  • Administer and onboard recruitment technology solutions such as applicant tracking systems (ATS), sourcing platforms, and assessment tools. 
  • Provide training and support to recruiters and hiring managers. 
  • Drive data analytics/reporting and visualization to improve recruiting efforts. 
  • Utilize data to partner with HR and improve Compensation & Benefits and ensure market competitiveness.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, including job boards, pre-employment contacts, and other service providers.
  • Continuously evaluate vendor performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, regulations, and internal policies. 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • 5-10 years of recruiting experience on a high-performing team. 
  • 3-5 years of experience leading teams. 
  • 3+ years in a Recruiting Operations capacity. 
  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition systems/tools and programs. 
  • Demonstrated program and project management skills in a high-growth, scrappy, ambiguous environment. 
  • Experience revamping or building out new recruiting operations at scale across a sizeable organization. 
  • Strong business acumen and ability to manage multiple initiatives, while keeping a clear attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work cross functionally with key stakeholders to ensure successful and aligned partnerships. 
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Strength in reporting metrics, data analytics, and visualization tools (e.g. Alteryx, Tableau). 
  • Passion for sustainability and contributing to positive change.
