Who You Are
Justworks is seeking an experienced, motivated and results-oriented Referral Marketing Manager to work as part of a dynamic and performance driven Lifecycle Marketing team. The Lifecycle Marketing team is responsible for driving customer acquisition, community growth and engagement across the prospect and customer journey.
The Referral Marketing Manager will lead the strategy and execution of the multichannel Justworks Referral Program. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, an innate problem solver, and data-driven marketer who has a passion for building relationships, word-of-mouth marketing and leveraging brand sentiment and automation/CRM tools to grow customer and community advocacy."
Your Success Profile
What You Will Work On
- Redefine and implement the strategy to scale the Justworks Referral Program that includes managing the operations and monitoring customer journeys, designing triggers and automations, incentive structure and promotional strategy to drive loyalty and acquisition.
- Develop, manage and track referral marketing campaigns that deliver relevant, timely and impactful experiences across the prospect and customer journey from end-to-end; including but not limited to testing, customer segmentation, creative strategy, deployment, optimization, monitoring, reporting and analysis.
- Design an attractive rewards program to incentivize participants with simple and clearly defined CTAs.
- Work closely with the content team to strategize on ways to include referral customers in the development of digital & editorial content amongst new and existing customers.
- Uncover key insights about our biggest evangelists to create experiences that truly delight and deliver.
- Partner with internal team members, including Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to identify and implement referral promotion opportunities through internal and external channels.
- Partner with Business Operations to level up our referral tracking and measurement to enable data-driven decision-making and to ensure referral campaigns are properly tracked, leads are properly assigned and automation strategies are properly managed.
- Support and advocate for further growth of referral program initiatives with robust research and analysis around our customer cohorts.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a fast-paced environment working in referral marketing, CRM growth and strategy
- Proven track record driving measurable business results through referral marketing campaigns
- Demonstrated success in building, managing and scaling high performing referral campaigns with a strong focus on personalization and loyalty programs
- Highly analytical and data-driven with the ability to surface meaningful insights from large data sets
- Excellent communication, project management, organizational, and time management skills
- Entrepreneurial, with the ability to foster alignment, partnership, and collaboration across teams
- A creative problem-solver who loves to roll up their sleeves and get things done
- Analyze competitive marketplace and stay abreast of industry trends as well as opportunities to innovate.
- Hands-on experience with referral marketing software is a plus
- Strong point of view on direct marketing best practices, including contact strategies, designing A/B testing, customer segmentation and analytics
- In-depth understanding of database marketing with an ability to use data to build marketing plans and analyze a channel’s effectiveness
The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $137,500.00 - $144,375.00

Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
