Regeneron is currently looking for a Sr. Data Scientist to join our Process Sciences Drug Product Engineering department. In this role, you will lead AI and machine learning projects, including generative and discriminative models, reinforcement learning, time series forecasting, image processing, and natural language processing, to enable data-driven decision making and insights across our operations.As a Sr. Data Scientist, a typical day might include:• Partnering with cross-functional teams to plan and execute data science projects to enable the development of novel AI and machine learning solutions. Projects may be in the areas of reinforcement learning, time series forecasting, image processing, natural language processing, and large language models.• Utilizing Python libraries (such as langchain, PyTorch, nltk, TensorFlow), open-source models, transformers, and HuggingFace to develop, analyze and fine-tune models. Familiarity with RAG, ReAct framework, knowledge-graphs, and LLM fine-tuning is expected.• Preparing validation protocols, designing experiments, and coordinating empirical testing to validate models. Look to utilize machine learning methods to automate and scale validation.• Incorporating model results into the design of systems and processes for data-driven decision making.• Writing reports and crafting technical presentations to both technical and non-technical audience to shape strategic decisions and document work.• Mentoring and training others in the areas of AI, machine learning, and data science.• Evaluating existing data science technology and exploring new methods as we work toward data-driven process and decision making.This role might be for you if you:• You are recognized as an expert in the use of AI, machine learning, and data science.• Have a strong foundation in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and algorithm development. You are always on the lookout for new tools, techniques, and best practices that can enhance your work.To be considered for the Sr. Data Scientist you must be willing and able to work Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm. You must have a PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline, or MSc with 2+ years of related experience in data science.
