RHI Magnesita is looking for a dynamic Regional Health, Safety, and Environmental Sales and Service Professional. This role will work remotely and can sit in Canada, United States, or Mexico. This role requires the successful candidate to spend a significant amount of time in the field, with travel up to 50% through North America.

This role will be the primary contact for the Sales and Refractory Services organizations. This person will drive HSE performance by partnering in the field with RHIM employees and building relationships with key customers. In addition, they will be responsible for directing the Contractor Management program for the North American region. They are also responsible for ensuring training for Sales and Refractory Services is completed and adds value.

Tasks will include:

End of Month Reporting

• Sales/Services – Consolidate for the Region
• Sales

Incident Reporting

• On-site support
• Employee Care
• Coordinated effort with Regional HSE Team
• Incident Documentation and Root Cause Analysis
• Non-injury incidents (car accidents, property damage)

Training

• New Employee Training/required annual training
• Sales, Supply Chain, HR, Procurement, Marketing
• Support MSHA Part 46/48 Training

Contractor Management

• ISN, Avetta, etc.
• Ensure compliance on customer sites
• Safety statistics, insurance, training programs

Customer Site Meetings

• 5S
• Incident Follow Up

Additional Responsibilities

• Partner with customer site HSE professionals to align on RHIM expectations
• Drive proactive initiatives and align with other regions on best practices
• Provide supplemental project support for Spot Installations US

About you

• 2+ years of Health and Safety Experience in a field environment
• Knowledge of OSHA and Workers Compensation
• Able to build relationships inside and outside of the company
• Microsoft Office Word Excel PowerPoint
• Proficient in English
  • Spanish or French - preferred
• Contractor Management Experience – preferred
• MSHA, Canadian and Mexican Health and Safety Regulations – preferred
• Degree in related field – preferred
