Regional Key Account Manager - job 2 of 2

The Federal Sales team at Tektronix is collaborative, inclusive, and customer obsessed. Together we strive to provide Tektronix Military and Government accounts with high quality support and engagement. We are looking for a highly motivated sales professional to join us as a Regional Key Account Manager! This role supports some of our largest Prime accounts in Dallas, Texas, including the national account management of Raytheon. Tektronix is a worldwide leader in Test & Measurement products and continues to provide the tools that drive innovation. Come join our Team!

Responsibilities:
Develop a strategic sales plan that focuses on revenue growth and share gains that will lead to exceeding sales targets.

Understand customer organizations by department, function, strategies, and key programs and document details in Dynamics CRM.

Profile and develop relationships with key executives at all levels within your accounts.

Master the basic features and benefits of our primary products.

Optimally partner with sales resources including applications engineers, channel partners & inside sales support.

Qualifications:
Proven track record in quota attainment selling technical capital equipment using a defined sales process

Shown success in developing growth plans for large strategic accounts

Proven understanding of account management in a highly technical environment

Demonstrated commitment to building and maintaining professional relationships with customers and internal team members

Fully developed tactical sales skills (prospecting, qualifying, closing, and growing existing customers)

Military functional knowledge or experience highly preferred

Minimum 5 years of selling experience
