What does a great Regional People Business Partner do?
Using extensive employee relations skills and experience, the Regional People Business Partner will help cultivate a positive work environment by providing expert consultation and guidance to managers and employees on wide range of People matters.
Responsibilities Include:
- Serves as a subject matter expert in the region.
- Provide consultation and guidance to managers and employees on diverse and complex employee related matters including; performance management, attendance issues, disability employee relations issues, corrective action, conflict resolution, policy interpretation, progressive discipline, workplace investigations of misconduct, policy violations and involuntary terminations.
- Oversee resolution of employee related concerns in a manner that mitigates legal exposure and maintains a positive work environment that is fair, safe, engaging, delivers strong business results.
- Lead thorough and timely investigations in a manner that respects all concerned while balancing business needs and will communicate recommendations and outcomes as appropriate.
- Prepare necessary documentation and correspondence for all employee relations matters and correspondence with legal representatives.
- Manage employee relations data to identify measure and analyze trends; diagnose root causes and develop recommendations for proactive corrective strategies.
- Provide regular reports to the Functional Business Partners and business leaders on ER data. Analyses trends and metrics for the organization and helps deploys solutions, programs and policies.
- Act as a credible, trusted advisor to HR leaders and business leaders in the region by leveraging his/her experience, expertise, organizational awareness, business acumen, pragmatic mindset, and ability to effectively partner with and influence others.
- Create and/or update policies and procedures for the region and ensure compliance working with appropriate COE teams within the people org and socializing to get input and alignment across the broader organization.
- Maintain strong relationships with legal and compliance, disability management, and IT and security, as many cases will require integration of efforts across one or more of these areas.
- Maintain collaborative partnerships with Function Business Partners. Share pertinent information on a timely basis, keep Function Business Partner teams abreast of trends in their client groups, and advise on proactive and preventative measures that would contribute to a positive work environment.
- Hybrid Function People Business Partner for regional leadership in aligned business area.
Who we are looking for in this role:

- Provide expert coaching and guidance to managers and employees on diverse and complex employee related matters including; performance management, attendance issues, disability employee relations issues, corrective action, conflict resolution, policy interpretation, workplace investigations of misconduct, policy violations and involuntary terminations.
- Oversee resolution of employee related concerns in a manner that mitigates legal exposure and maintains a positive work environment that is fair, safe, engaging, delivers strong business results.
- Act as a credible, trusted advisor to People Team leaders and business leaders in the US region by leveraging his/her experience, expertise, organizational awareness, business acumen, pragmatic mindset, and ability to effectively partner with and influence others.
- Create and/or update policies and procedures for the US region and ensure compliance working with appropriate COE teams within the People team and socializing to get input and alignment across the broader organization.
- Builds trust and maintains strong relationships internally and externally as many activities will require efforts across both internal and external partners.
- Has demonstrated success championing people-related projects in a dynamic environment, collaborating across multiple COE's and cross-functional team(s).
- Has 1-2 years relevant work experience as a people business partner, preferably in a tech high growth environment, understands tech employees and the industry's talent demand challenges.

Salary Target: $65,000 - $75,000
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.
