ModMed is hiring a driven Regional Sales Manager to join our positive, passionate, and high-performing Sales team focused selling Modernizing Medicine's revolutionary suite of software solutions including Electronic Medical Assistant® (EMA™), Practice Management, Analytics and Telehealth™ to strategic accounts.

You'll identify and secure new business opportunities by prospecting and engaging new and existing leads, facilitating remote and onsite product demonstrations to specialty practices, negotiating contracts to close and working with implementation teams for a significant volume of business. This is an exciting opportunity to sell an enterprise solution in the mid-market segment with a company that is truly Modernizing Medicine!

  • You have a proven track record of success in meeting sales quotas within the healthcare software space

  • You have the ability to drive the sales strategy and process for a territory and deliver and execute on that strategy
  • You are technically savvy with an ability to quickly learn and assimilate domain knowledge of the various medical specialties we serve
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment where you can take your career to the next level in the growing field of Healthcare IT

Your Role:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by conducting market research, networking, and leveraging existing relationships to generate qualified leads
  • Manage the sales process from lead to close, including quote creation and contract negotiations
  • Build and execute on a territory plan, working to meet monthly, quarterly and yearly quotas within the mid-sized segment for specialty specific medical practices
  • Develop prospective client relationships through regular communication, understanding their unique needs, and providing tailored solutions that align with their objectives
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and sales collateral to effectively communicate the value of ModMed's solutions to prospective clients
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring that all parties' expectations are aligned and that client needs are met or exceeded
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including customer success, product, and marketing, to ensure seamless onboarding and implementation
  • Accurately track and report sales activities, pipeline, and revenue forecasts using CRM tools and other sales management systems
  • Travel within territory to present our solutions, as needed

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of demonstrated success in a full-cycle sales role with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • EMR/Healthcare, Practice Management or RCM Software sales experience a plus
  • Experience selling a complex, enterprise software (SaaS-based solution) in mid-market segments required
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 30%
  • Polished and professional virtual and in-person presence and demeanor
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and innovative environment
  • A strong passion and interest in serving the healthcare technology industry
