Role Summary:
Reporting to the Vice President of Enterprise Field Sales for the Americas, the Regional Vice President(RVP) of Enterprise Field Sales will provide inspirational leadership and guidance to help transform a regionally dispersed team of first line sales leaders and sales executives for Alteryx’s next phase of exponential growth. This leader will be responsible for their team's development and ability to effectively sell Alteryx solutions, leading and driving net new revenue growth across enterprise customers in the Southeast region of the United States.
Strong business acumen, operational rigor, the ability to quickly assess and understand a prospect or customer's business environment and needs and apply Alteryx’s business value is essential to success in this role.
Responsibilities:
Plan, direct and coordinate the activities of the Southeast sales organization of enterprise sellers. This leader will be responsible for leading and developing a growing team of top performers. Excellent communication and consistent leadership is a key element of success.
Transform the organization from transactional to solution selling; implement disciplined operational mechanism to support detailed, accurate, predictable, and consistent forecasting across all sales teams; develop sales plans and overall strategies to grow and close enterprise deals.
Serve as an inspiring leader to the team by articulating a clear vision and strategy, and providing team with the guidance and resources for success; this leader will be responsible for identifying capabilities and talent needs across her/his organization, while providing growth and development opportunities.
Own the Americas Southeast region number and build a strategic plan to ensure achievement based on core metrics and reporting. Establish standardized processes across the organization based on established OKRs. Build staffing plans with strong hiring execution to ensure top quality teams.
Demonstrate a growth mindset with proven results in large scale, high growth, multi-product companies.
Specifics

Set and execute an aggressive customer acquisition strategy to generate double percentage annual growth in ACV bookings

Maintain key customer relationships while developing and implementing strategies for expanding Alteryx’s customer base

Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting

Manage overall sales process, set appropriate metrics for sales funnel management

Plan and manage both strategic and tactical operational activities

Manage a dispersed and diverse sales team, including frequent travel (as appropriate/allowed)

Work cross-functionally with all field teams (Channels, Consulting, Inside Sales)

Establish trusted relationships with key corporate teams, including product development, product management, marketing, human resources and finance
Qualifications:

At least 12 years of experience in software sales

5+ years experience managing sales teams and first line sales managers

Proven ability to motivate team members

Success in small/fast-growing company environments

Demonstrated experience in successfully achieving a sales target

Demonstrated understanding of strategic sales techniques in a high transaction environment specifically in the Software industry

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
