Job Summary:
District Healthcare Service LLC is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team of healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients within our state-of-the-art facility, while working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on individual needs, following established nursing standards, policies, and procedures.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and execute comprehensive, patient-centered care plans.
Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while ensuring adherence to medication administration protocols and documenting all relevant information.
Educate patients and their families on their healthcare needs, including disease management, prevention, and self-care techniques.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure a supportive and respectful care environment.
Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation of patient care in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to maintain and enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines, as well as company policies and procedures, to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
Requirements:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the District of Columbia.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
A minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a similar setting.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Strong clinical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based care environment.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
