The Regulatory Affairs Specialist – Copy Compliance will review and approve all digital asset copy/artwork/videos, as well as press and marketing materials for global compliance. They will partner with Benefit’s Product Innovation, Claims and Copywriting teams to provide education and guidance on digital product claims and to ensure clear understanding of global guidelines for all Benefit markets. This role will also be responsible for ensuring customer or retailer inquiries are answered quickly and accurately, ensuring one common, consistent message globally.


What You’ll Do:

  • Manage review of website product copy, PR copy, visual merchandising assets, videos, FAQ and toolkit copy for global compliance.
  • Partner with LVMH Regulatory team to understand desired claims risk levels by global market, suggesting alternative claims and solutions for Copywriting team.
  • Proactively monitor and communicate to Director, Validation & Regulatory any new or changing copy regulations; assess previously approved assets to identify website copy not meeting newest restrictions.
  • Partner with Manager, Regulatory- Product Validation to maintain Escalation Nation Sharepoint to include customer inquiry toolbox,and lead internal team communication on sensitive topics.
  • Collaborate with LVMH and Director, Validation & Regulatory to update Corporate Affair statements allowing for distribution of proactive statements to the markets on sensitive subjects.
  • Manage the claims library in Sharepoint in partnership with Manager, Regulatory – Copy & Artwork Compliance, ensuring all claim regulation information received from internal LVMH sources or external Regulatory councils are up to date.
  • Create/streamline departmental processes related to job function and develop/maintain SOPs.
  • Travel to conferences or LVMH offices, as required. (2-3x/year)

Qualifications:

  • 4 to 5 years’ experience in cosmetic regulatory affairs, specifically in identifying risk level of global cosmetic or OTC claims
  • Experience working with industry counterparts and trade associations
  • Proficient in Excel and MS Suite
  • Highly detail-oriented with proven accuracy.
  • Clear verbal, reasoning, and written communication skills.
  • Skills at summarizing complex regulations in simple terms.
  • Strong partnership skills to analyse and problem-solve in team dynamic.

Schedule:

  • Flex - requires onsite presence for 1 designated week per month (Think Pink Week)

The target salary range for this position is $62,000 - $83,000 annually. The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, years of relevant experience; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. This position is eligible to earn an annual bonus.
