Responsibilities encompass managing program schedules, organizing assignments, coordinating project activities (ranging from smaller tasks to larger plans), and aiding in the execution of action plans for both internal and external projects. The program management scope extends across budgeting, planning, project management, partnering/resourcing, optimization, maintenance, and risk/opportunity analysis.The Program Manager, Visual Merchandising Administration will spearhead the development and implementation of REI's Visual Merchandising strategies within the Stores Organization, a key component of the Commercial Division. This role involves close collaboration with cross-divisional teams and vendor partners.Responsibilities And Qualifications• Drive execution in all project stages throughout the year• Maintain open lines of awareness and communication between cross-divisional partners, including the REI in-store experience• Partner with store design, fixture team, marketing, and visual merchandising to deliver on visual strategies for REI's store visual programs.• Serve as the primary administrator for the VM project instance, managing schedules, arranging assignments, resource management, annual planning, auditing, reporting, training, education, and providing team support.• Accountable for building, forecasting, and tracking budgets for all assigned programs and associated components.• Place purchase orders and handle receiving, reviewing, and auditing invoices, RFQ's, RFP's, etc., for visual merchandising and store graphics initiatives.• Act as the key project liaison between internal, cross-divisional, and third-party partners in the management of project timelines, dependencies, issue resolution, and asset delivery• Accountable for accurate resource allocation within a project schedule to drive team member focus and efficiency.• Partner with cross-divisional peers to ensure programs are aligned and integrated with peers and partners for holistic seasonal and annual marketing and merchandising programs.• Manage both external and internal business relationships with vendors, clients, strategic partners, and agencies.• Evaluate partnership opportunities and proposals for strategic relevance and alignment with REI's core values.• Leverage Smartsheet, Workfront, and other work management tools to centrally house project requirements, schedules, documentation, and resource time tracking• Drive awareness and project alignment through unsolicited project updates on key milestones and deliverables• Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills to deliver consistent progress updates, ensuring projects are delivered on time, with quality, and on budget.Qualifications• Experience utilizing project management software & scheduling tools• Ability to be productive and flexible in a fast-paced environment• Excellent strong verbal and written communication skills.• Acute attention to detail.• Ability to collaborate up, down and across the organization.• Ability to navigating ambiguous, evolving role definition, serving multiple work groups and personalities. • Actively participates and collaborates with others on one's own team and across REI for the achievement of business goals.ClosingAt REI, we believe the outdoors is for all.
