Relationship Account Manager

Position Summary

The Relationship Account Manager is a key role responsible for establishing and fostering long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with professional partners, including Realtors, financial planners, CPAs, divorce attorneys, and more. This position plays a vital role in maintaining their existing professional partners’ needs. Additionally, this role will actively seek out new professional partner relationships that have the potential to become valuable sources of business.

Essential Functions

  • Engage existing Realtor partners to ensure continuous top-of-mind awareness.
  • Proactively establish connections within the real estate community, with the aim of cultivating new and fruitful relationships.
  • Conduct one-on-one or group meetings with professional partners to understand their needs and find ways to enhance their success.
  • Collaborate in the development and organization of classes, continuing education courses, and live events where Evan can present to professional partners and past customers.
  • Provide strategic guidance to the team regarding content for social media marketing, with the objective of attracting new professional partners and homebuyer clients.
  • Represent the company at industry events to raise brand awareness and build a strong presence in the market.
  • Please note: Per law and/or company practice, this role is prohibited from submitting documents to underwriting; assisting borrowers with the completion or explanation of documents; quoting rates, discussing qualification requirements or product details with customers, vendors, or referral partners under any circumstances.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Five or more years total experience in the Real Estate or Mortgage Lending Industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities; strong detail orientation and highly organized.
  • Works with a strong sense of urgency and responsiveness.
  • Passionate about delivering excellence in customer service.
  • Demonstrated patience and professionalism when interacting with both internal and external customers.
  • Proficiency with internet searches, data entry, PDF software programs, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ethical, with a commitment to company values.

Supervision

  • Direct: 0
  • Indirect: 0
  • Moderate to intermittent supervision required, depending on experience
  • Applies sound judgment in execution of core job responsibilities and in assigning work
  • Thinks critically about downstream impact of changes on processes and systems
  • Hires, trains, coaches, disciplines, and exits team members
  • Travel: 80% (attend events and meetings with realtors, builders, and other sources)

Requirements

  • Physical: Work is primarily sedentary; mobility in an office setting.
  • Manual Dexterity: Frequent use of computer keyboard and mouse.

  • Audio/Visual: Ability to accurately interpret sounds and associated meanings at a volume consistent with interpersonal conversation. Regularly required to accurately perceive, distinguish and interpret information received visually and through audio; e.g., words, numbers and other data broadcasted aloud/viewed on a screen, as well as print and other media.

  • Environmental: Office environment – no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
