Materials Characterization Technician II (2nd Shift)

Relativity Space is seeking a Materials Characterization Technician II to join their ambitious engineering team, focusing on materials testing for aerospace applications.

Skills

Hands-on materials testing experience
Understanding of metallography and mechanical testing methods
Familiarity with aerospace materials

Responsibilities

Operate metallography equipment for material characterization
Perform material evaluations using microscopy and hardness testing
Execute mechanical testing including tensile and fatigue tests
Document and report data to industry and internal standards
Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring proper calibration

Education

High school diploma or GED
