Senior Mechanisms Engineer

Relativity Space is seeking a Senior Mechanisms Engineer to support the design and development of mechanisms for the Terran R rocket, contributing to innovative aerospace technology.

Skills

Experience in full cycle design engineering.
Knowledge of kinematic synthesis and mechatronics.
Familiarity with design engineering tools like NX and Ansys.

Responsibilities

Guide the design of mechanisms including stage separation and payload deployment.
Collaborate with partner groups such as structures and avionics.
Conduct trade studies and present them to leadership.
Lead hardware ownership for the full product lifecycle.

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
