Release Coordinator III

As a Release Coordinator you will coordinates activities to insure timely and successful software releases. Develops and maintains release processes and procedures.

This position can be based to work out of any Jack Henry office or remote from any US location.

This position will have a salary range of $49,800-$71,800 based on experience and location.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Develops and maintains release processes and procedures.
  • Works with R&D and documentation departments to ensure accuracy of release enhancement guides and documentation.
  • Schedules release calendar and notifies customers of date selected.
  • Performs software upgrades.
  • Schedules and/or participates in conference calls relating to the release as required.
  • Works with R&D and education departments to ensure all staff are trained on release materials.
  • Coordinates billing related to releases with accounting.
  • Excellent communication and customer relation skills.
  • Able to multi-task and manage multiple projects.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to have:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in customer support and implementation.
  • Knowledge of SQL.
  • Ability to communicate with customers effectively both written and oral.
  • Ability to research and troubleshoot software implementation errors.
  • Must be able to work occasional extended hours.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization. Works on moderately complex and diverse projects. Exercises good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Able to effectively schedule and carry out releases both within the company and with outside customers.
  • Able to use independent judgment to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload.
  • Strong knowledge of release processes.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong knowledge of product development and product enhancements.
  • Strong knowledge of company products and services.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
