Why you should join our Risk team:

The Risk function is one of our company's most critical, cross-functional business units - it is where business meets technology. As a Release Manager, you will push risk release on our underwriting engine, directly impacting billions of dollars in exposure. You will be the first release manager in At Bay, own the risk release lifecycle end to end, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to push insights to production at a record speed.

The Role:

You will help to project manage the risk release lifecycle end to end - scope, schedule, coordinate, deploy, and build a process around status reporting, troubleshooting, testing, and release documentation. In the role, you will be required to collaborate with cross-functional teams over the US and with the RnD team in Tel Aviv. You'll also assist the VP of Risk in overseeing the internal operations of Risk team, improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity

How you'll make an impact:

By 3 months:

  • Partner with our Pricing, Risk Analytics, Insurance product, Underwriting, Product, and Tech teams to prioritize business needs and tech capabilities into actionable risk release
  • You'll understand our business and have established relationships with our senior leadership.
  • Define release readiness criteria, ensuring all testings meet criteria prior to deployment
  • You'll generate documentation and guidelines to structure the risk release process

By 6 months:

  • Identify and resolve roadblocks that affect the release timeline and quality upfront.
  • Be the first responder of risk release-related bugs and coordinate & prioritize with cross-functional teams for patches/deployment in a timely manner
  • Constantly push for best practices in release procedures, automation, and process to optimize the release cycle.

In this role, we value the following:

  • Top-tier professional with 2+ years of production release and project management experience.
  • Proven record of driving complex releases on time with a high degree of precision
  • Proven ability to build consensus with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of Jira and experience using tech tools for build and deployment like Jenkins
  • Experience working with Agile/SCRUM
  • Responsive, strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication, stakeholder management
  • Knowledge of insurance, underwriting, and rule engine (DMN) is plus
  • Driven, Organized, Team Player, Strong Sense of Ownership, Attention to detail

Our estimated base pay range for this role is $100,000-$120,000 per year. Base salary is determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to market data, location, internal equitability, domain knowledge, experiences and skills.
