Remote - Accounting Assistant

Overview: Duties:

• Support/Analysis

o Collaborate with internal team and client contacts on billing & support; Respond to Customer emails around invoicing/billing concerns.
o Assist on monthly close process by reviewing balance sheet and P&L reconciliations, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accrued liabilities and more.
o Maintain consistent accounting policies and procedures across clients, including the documentation of techniques and procedures to support team growth.
o Assist Accounting Manager as needed.

• 
  Managing aging reports

o Research, develop, and facilitate collection procedures and strategies based on account characteristics.
o Communicate the status of delinquent accounts to the Accounting Manager and sales team.
o Conduct weekly communication meeting with the team.
o Prepare weekly collector dashboard summarizing prior week’s cash collections, collector aging, and outstanding credits.
o Work closely with Billing to ensure invoicing is processed and delivered.
o Target is to keep AR over sixty below 5%
o Perform other related duties as assigned.

• 
  Ad hoc requests

o Assist on Financial reports and analysis Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
