Job Description

At Reality AI – Renesas Electronics, we work on Reality AI Tools, an AI-driven technology platform that offers prebuilt AI-based modules for building, optimizing, and deploying ML models. We’re looking for a skilled software engineer to join our Cloud Team, an agile scrum team. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of software development processes and solid experience with rapid development cycles. This person should be highly motivated to build robust code, identify technical issues, and resolve them with meticulous coding. You will have the opportunity to be a full-stack developer, delivering across all layers of the technology stack following a microservice architecture, using technologies and frameworks such as NodeJS, ReactJS, AWS, JavaScript, and more.

Responsibilities

Examine existing systems for flaws and create solutions that improve service uptime and time-to-resolve through monitoring and automated remediation
Design and build APIs and frameworks, automate testing, deployment, and management of services and products

Qualifications

Bachelor’s / master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
Strong experience (professional and academic) with NodeJS, JavaScript and Python.
Proven ability to understand design architectures and microservices.
Strong ability to analyze, troubleshoot and debug issues.
Working knowledge of non-relational databases like MongoDB and Redis.
Web application development experience with ReactJS, AngularJS and likes of it.
Proficiency cloud-based services, like AWS Batch, Lambda, S3 etc.
MUST HAVE: The candidate will need to be based in Columbia, Maryland.
