The Role
Reorg is undergoing a strategic re-branding effort and is seeking a passionate and experienced Creative Services and Brand Director to lead our creative team and drive the development of our brand identity and creative initiatives. Reorg is a data- and media-driven company and, as the Creative Services and Brand Director, you will be responsible for shaping the creative vision of the company as it embraces data visualization and evolves its visual identity and brand positioning, directing the development of strategic marketing support, and ensuring consistency and resonance across all touchpoints. You will collaborate closely with the marketing leadership and cross-functional teams to develop creative strategies and visual stories that elevate our brand and effectively communicate our value proposition across our target audiences.
In this role, the Creative Services and Brand Director will successfully embrace and lead creative “atomization” of graphic assets, thinking holistically about brand engagement, developing a range of appropriate, snackable content, with the ability to take complex topics and express them with visual elegance and simplicity to engage audiences through micro, macro and cross-channel touchpoints. Regular engagement with Reorg’s technology/engineering, AI and UI/UX teams is a key element in this role.
Responsibilities
- Brand Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive visual brand strategy that aligns with the company's objectives and resonates with our target audiences. This includes both internally and externally facing initiatives.
- Creative Direction: Provide creative direction and leadership to the internal marketing and creative teams, along with directing and managing external agency relationships, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and impactful creative assets.
- Brand Identity: Define and maintain the visual and verbal identity of the brand, including logos, typography, iconography, color palettes, visual style and brand guidelines.
- Visual Storytelling: Lead the conceptualization, development, and creative execution of integrated marketing and visual storytelling campaigns across various channels, including digital, social, print, video and events.
- Content Creation: Oversee the creation of compelling and engaging visual design and support marketing assets, including website design and user engagement/experience, sales collateral and presentations, multi-media assets, social media content, videos, podcasts, and other marketing materials.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with product, editorial, UI/UX, marketing and agency teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment across all touchpoints and initiatives.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, audience insights, and competitive landscape to inform brand strategy and creative decisions.
- Performance Analysis: Develop ways to track, analyze and inform the performance of marketing campaigns and creative initiatives, leveraging data and insights to optimize future efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, design, data science or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 8+ years’ proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a brand or digital agency environment, media or broadcast setting, the fintech, insurtech or SaaS industry, or a related field.
- Experience managing and art directing designers and developers.
- Experience designing and building data visualizations and interactive infographics.
- Strong understanding of branding principles, design concepts and marketing strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful brand and marketing campaigns, incorporating data-driven insights and visualizations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts and strategies effectively.
- Expert-level knowledge in design production tools (eg, Adobe Creative Suite); proficient in motion graphics and video post-production and editing tools (eg, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci, etc), data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), web design software (ie, WordPress, Dreamweaver, Figma, etc.) and HTML, and other relevant design and project management tools (ie, Canva, Monday.com, Jira, etc).
- Knowledge of digital marketing platforms, analytics tools, and SEO best practices.
- Passion for innovation and creativity, with a relentless drive to push boundaries and challenge the status quo.
- Prior experience art directing broadcast-level media activities or developing in-house video and production studio

As a result, compensation may vary within and across similar roles and positions. Please note that the salary range information below is a good faith estimate for this position and actual compensation for any individual may fall outside this range if warranted by the circumstances applicable to that individual. If we identify a role that would be suitable for a broader range of skills and experience such that we would consider hiring at multiple levels then the range listed below may reflect that breadth.
The salary range estimate for this position is $120,000 - $140,000.
The actual compensation will be at Reorg’s sole discretion and will be determined by the aforementioned and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
