We are looking for a Senior Manager of Business Development.. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this leader will own and scale the BDR function, and will play a crucial part in driving pipeline growth and lead quality. They will be responsible for delivering a highly efficient and scalable BDR process that aligns tightly with our overall GTM strategy, enabling our company’s continued revenue growth and expansion.
What You’ll Do
Develop and lead a high-performing BDR team focused on outbound prospecting and inbound lead conversion, fostering continuous improvement and alignment with Replicant’s growth goals
Optimize the BDR function to drive high-quality Sales Accepted Opportunities (SAOs) by creating efficient processes for lead generation, qualification, and handoff
Collaborate with marketing, demand generation, and ABM teams to drive a seamless pipe-gen motion that enhances campaign effectiveness and conversion rates
Establish and refine data-driven strategies that enable BDRs to improve conversion rates on inbound leads and outbound outreach efforts, aligning with both team and company KPIs
Ensure strong cross-functional alignment with Account Executives and Sales Leadership, creating clear and efficient lead handoff processes that maximize SAO and conversion potential
Recruit, develop, and retain top BDR talent, fostering an environment that encourages growth, engagement, and high performance
Coach and mentor BDRs on essential skills, including prospecting, discovery, messaging, and objection handling, while maintaining high motivation and team morale
Drive regular reporting and performance analysis, providing actionable insights to executive stakeholders and refining strategies based on pipeline performance metrics
Build a culture of accountability and goal-oriented execution, establishing clear KPIs and consistently guiding the team to achieve monthly and quarterly targets
Leverage the latest in GTM AI technology, automating manual work, eliminating workflow bottlenecks, and improving overall team productivity and impact
What You’ll Bring
5+ years of experience in BDR, SDR, at least 3+ years of sales leadership, preferably in a SaaS or high-growth environment, with a track record of driving significant pipeline growth
Proven expertise in data-driven decision-making, with the ability to analyze key metrics, identify trends, and use data to optimize team performance and process efficiency
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated success building partnerships across marketing, sales, and other cross-functional teams
Experience managing high-performing teams with a focus on coaching, performance management, and skill development to drive consistent results
Ability to recruit, retain, and develop top BDR talent, fostering a culture of engagement and high accountability for performance
Goal-oriented with high accountability for achieving targets, setting clear expectations, and delivering results that support company growth objectives
A collaborative approach with influence-oriented leadership, skilled at building alignment with both sales and marketing to enhance overall pipeline effectiveness
Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with the ability to manage changing priorities and continuously improve processes
Strong organizational and process-oriented mindset, able to implement efficient workflows that scale with the team’s growth and business needs
