Reporting Analyst

The Reporting Analyst within Client Reporting is responsible for identifying solutions and/or designing, creating, and delivering reports and insights to internal and external customers utilizing their knowledge and experience of HealthFitness programs, services, reporting tools, and best practices to clearly summarize the findings. This key individual will be expected to present analytical findings to internal audiences such as Client Success & Engagement. As a key resource, the Reporting Analyst must maintain a high degree of accuracy along with attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to always meet deadlines. Success in this role will require ability to think analytically, be flexible, dynamic, self-driven, and deliver high quality work.

What you will be doing:

• Identify solutions for reporting and analysis requests for internal or external customers.
• Fulfill reporting and analytics requests and deliver findings to internal or external customers.
• Achieve and maintain a high level of quality which enhances our reputation and maintains customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers to formulate recommendations that corroborate the story or message from a report or analysis.
• Present findings and provide consultative responses to internal customers.
• Support the testing, training, launch, and ongoing enhancements related to reporting tools utilized.
• Act as a consultant supporting new product builds, business growth and expansion, etc.
• For new team members, new processes, or cross-training initiatives, develop training plans and lead training sessions with others within Client Reporting.
• Assist with training and communication initiatives that involve other HealthFitness departments.
• Support items such as book of business reporting, custom reporting, process efficiencies, quality assurance or NCQA initiatives, special projects, or management of specific deliverables (Business Planning, Performance Guarantees, etc.).
• Clearly articulate the meaning of data and reporting based on data dictionaries available.
• Provide necessary support to internal and external customers in the understanding and interpretation of data and reporting.
• Other duties as needed/assigned.

What you bring with you:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in a health, fitness, wellness, science, data science, or other related discipline.
• Two or more years of experience with data management, reporting, or analytics, including preparation of data, production of reports, and analyzing results.
• Excellent analytical skills including the ability to examine data for meaningful relationships, quickly grasp complex issues and problem solve.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, prioritize, coordinate, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-sensitive environment.
• Strong technical skills including advanced use of Microsoft Products, specifically Excel (V-lookups, pivot tables, complex formulas) and Power Point.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy (specifically focused on calculations, interpretation, and presentation)
• Ability to effectively communicate in verbal and written formats, including strong presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills including the ability to work as part of a team in a lead or participant role.
• Proven ability to build relationships with multiple individuals and functions and quickly establish credibility.
• Familiarity with the fitness, health promotion and/or injury prevention field in general.
  

Compensation: $45K-$60K
