Research Assistant position
We are looking for a Research Assistant to join the Papapetrou Group at the Department of Oncological Sciences and Center for Advancement of Blood Cancer Therapies, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

The lab uses human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), CRISPR gene editing, xenograft mouse models and functional genomics to study blood malignancies.
The successful candidate should have good clerical and organizational skills.
Job description:
Provide researchers with technical support for mouse handling and caring (some training can be provided on site for lab specificities)
Provide researchers with task support in tissue culture and molecular biology
Participate actively in key aspects of general lab management and organization (managing inventories and stocks of animals, and consumables).
Essential
Organized and efficient, familiar with productivity software (Office)
Experience in handling mice or other rodents
And/or Experience in tissue culture and molecular biology
Preferential
Some knowledge in molecular biology and tissue culture or handling mice if not experienced
Willing to learn new techniques
Familiar with Good Laboratory Practice
