About This Role:
The Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (KSVDL) within the College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking applicants for a Research Assistant. This position will participate in multiple aspects of serum neutralization testing for rabies antibody serology (FAVN) including pre-analytical work (receiving packages, accessioning samples, data entry, data and sample verification, heat inactivation, rack and sample checks) analytical work (sample preparation, assay performance) and data processing and verification (data entry, data verification). The person in this position may be required to work on a weekend to make up 40 hours per week.

What You'll Need to Succeed:Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a health-related field or other field where rigorous QA practices occur.
Experience with fluorescence microscopy.
Experience with cell culture.
Highly competent computer skills including word processing, databases, spreadsheets and data entry.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Other Requirements:
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.
