Position Summary:

The Translational Sciences department is seeking a highly motivated and creative Research Associate II to be part of our GLP/GCP group. This individual would provide bioanalytical data for the support of the advancement of multiple antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) and immuno-oncology biotherapeutics from preclinical into clinical development. The successful candidate will have experience in standard and exploratory bioanalytical techniques that can be used to characterize the pharmacokinetics, pharmacology, biodistribution, and/or stability of antibody-based drugs. The successful candidate must also have good organizational skills to move projects forward and meet timelines.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development/validation and implementation of ligand binding assays and other novel bioanalytical methods used to measure and characterize therapeutic drugs or novel drug-linker platforms in various biological matrices
  • Perform functions in accordance with GLP regulations
  • Draft validation protocols and methods
  • Work with teammates for executing testing activities for various programs
  • Write and Revise test methods and process SOPs
  • Compile data and author reports
  • Review and completion of documentation for regulatory compliance
  • Help maintain commercial reagent inventory
  • Perform general lab duties and maintenance
  • Process improvement

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years relevant experience or M.S. degree with 0-2 years relevant experience; or equivalent
  • Degree in relevant scientific discipline such as: pharmaceutical chemistry, chemistry, biochemistry, biological sciences, or a related discipline
  • 2+ years of working in a lab
  • Fundamental knowledge of ligand binding assays
  • Hands-on experience with ELISA assays and knowledge of other assay formats
  • Team player with strong data and time organization/management skills with attention to detail with desire to achieve team and individual goals

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Watson LIMS and/or Labvantage systems
  • Assay development experience
  • Hands-on experience with other assay methods such as electrochemiluminescence, Gyros, HTRF or other analytical platforms are a plus
  • Experience with Watson LIMS and/or Labvantage systems is a plus
  • Experience working in a regulated lab, preferably GLP

The hiring pay range for this position is $72,000 to $94,000 per year based on skills, education and experience relevant to the role. Other components of total compensation include a competitive equity grant at the time of hire (with additional annual grants, and grants upon promotion when applicable), and an annual bonus.
