We are looking for a committed Personnel Security Administrator/Assistant Facility Security Officer to join our Corporate team. This position requires a current TS/SCI clearance.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING- Serves as consultant to management on major matters pertaining to its policies, plans, and objectives experience as a Facility Security Officer or Assistant Facility Security Officer is a plus.
- Coordinates and monitors highly sensitive aspects of security programs.
- Acts as primary liaison with upper management and outside agencies.
- Coordinates security education programs.
- Enters data and maintains databases that contain information pertaining to personnel security clearances and various other information for the Security Department.
- Work is performed without appreciable direction.
- Exercises some latitude in planning, scheduling and arranging own activities in accomplishing objectives.
- Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.
- Work is reviewed for desired results.
- Contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques and standards.
- Considered an expert in the field within the organization.
- Has detailed knowledge of other related disciplines.
- Possesses developed analytical and writing skills. Analyzes data for trends.
- Develops solutions to problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation.
- Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives.
- Plans and conducts assignments, generally involving more than one project.
- Errors in judgment or failure to achieve results would typically result in the expenditure of company resources and result in serious program delays.
- Must be able to work effectively with employees and customers to achieve workable relationships and provide effective and efficient security services to our customers. using good judgment, tact and diplomacy, provides a wide range of services to achieve Division and government security requirements.
WHAT YOU HAVE DONE- 5+ Years directly related experience w/ Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Knowledge of the basic security requirements for safeguarding government classified information.
- Requires a highly proficient typing speed with minimal errors.
- Proven ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures, to react responsibly in stressful situations, to communicate clearly and logically both verbally and in writing, and an ability to interact with all levels of people in a tactful and diplomatic manner to obtain compliance with rules, regulations, and procedures.
- Must possess good communication skills and knowledge of various computer software with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google products.
- Must have knowledge of all facets of office administration tasks and good analytical skills.
- Requires comprehensive knowledge of company policies, procedures, forms, organization, etc. and a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, poise and ability in carrying out assigned duties.
