Research Professional

The role of the Research Scientist is to support funded research activities and to support the mission of the program. Primary responsibilities include basic research activities within funded research programs, proposal writing, assisting with grant administration activities and managing graduate student assistants. Responsibilities also include designing and conducting research. • Grant Administration and project management – manage people and processes to successfully implement funded research (Project planning, data collection, status report writing, technical report writing, deliverable tracking, etc. • Write proposals in response to RFPs. Collaborate internally and externally to prepare white papers and proposals. • Monitor funding websites for contract opportunities. • Manage research and development of new product in support of mission. Coordinate and manage teams to design and conduct basic and applied research in support of products. • Coordinate and manage graduate student assistants who are assigned to work on various research projects. • Write manuscripts for publication and presentation; include students co-authors as appropriate.

The Annual Security and Fire Safety Report

Official Transcripts
Official transcripts of all collegiate work must be sent directly from the attended institution to the Office of Human Resources prior to the first day of employment. All international degrees must have a course-by-course official evaluation and translation sent to the Human Resources Office directly from an evaluation company affiliated with the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, Inc. (NACES).
