Performs biomedical &/or social-behavioral research by administering tests &/or questionnaires following protocols; collecting, compiling, tabulating &/or processing responses; gathering information; &/or assisting in the preparation of material for inclusion in reports. Completes all activities by strictly following Good Clinical Practices (GCP) & all relevant current local, state, & federal laws, regulations, guidance, policy & procedure developed by the NU Institutional Review Board (IRB), Food & Drug Administration (FDA) Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), & the International Conference on Harmonization (ICH).
We are seeking to hire a Research Study Assistant (bi-lingual in Spanish strongly preferred) to support the Food Allergy Management and Outcomes Related to Racial/Ethnic Differences from Infancy through Adolescence (FORWARD) Study, an NIH-funded multi-year, multi-site study that aims to develop a prospective longitudinal cohort to systematically investigate differences among Black, White, and Hispanic/Latino children with food allergy.
The successful candidate will join a mission-driven, collaborative research team within a dynamic research environment. This position will support the Center for Food Allergy & Asthma Research (CFAAR), directed by Dr. Ruchi Gupta. As a center with a presence in the both the Institute for Public Health and Medicine (IPHAM) and Northwestern University Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (NUCATS), CFAAR provides community and stakeholder engagement infrastructure across the research spectrum.
