Brandeis University is delighted to announce a Research Technician in the Biology lab. The main responsibilities for this position are contributing to lab organizational matters, including ordering supplies, organizing lab databases, maintaining yeast strains and overseeing lab equipment. Perform, analyze, interpret, and record experiments using yeast genetics, advanced cell microscopy and image analysis, molecular biology, and biochemistry.

Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in biology or biochemistry required
Will help supervise 5-6 undergraduates in the lab
Will coordinate purchasing/organization for a lab with 10 full-time members
Send out packages (yeast strain and plasmid requests)
Requires the ability to be on one’s feet at the lab bench and around the lab for multiple hours each day
