Position Description:
The Envirome Institute (EI) at the University of Louisville (UofL) is accepting applications for a Research Technician II to work as a team member on ongoing clinical studies and translational clinical research projects. The primary focus of this position is to support wastewater based epidemiology work which has monitored wastewater samples to assess pathogens and evidence of pollution since 2020. Candidate should be highly motivated, well organized, and able to work independently within a highly interdisciplinary group. Some weekend work will be required. This position is renewable contingent upon funding.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support the Envirome Institute across a range of research projects in the following task areas:

Organize, clean, and QA/QC data Perform basic data analysis using Microsoft Excel (creating plots and basic statistics)

Work collaboratively to assure consistency in data analysis Identify opportunities for quality improvement in data analysis

Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA/IRB guidelines/regulations

Maintain daily communication with supervisor on activities and tasks
Preferred Qualifications
Very proficient with MS Excel including proficiency with pivot tables and creating a wide range of data �figures.

Target Compensation Maximum:
$26.61
Target Compensation Minimum:
$15.41
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
