Job Overview:
As the Manager of Business Intelligence at Resilience Lab, you will play a key role in unlocking the potential of our data assets. Leveraging your strong analytical skills, you will be responsible for developing advanced models and data-driven solutions that contribute to critical business decisions. This role demands a deep understanding of data analysis, problem-solving, a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for innovation, and the ability to present these findings to executive leadership.
Responsibilities
The Manager of Business Intelligence will be central in driving analytic insights and strategic thinking across Resilience Lab Reports to the Chief Operation Officer (COO) and works very closely with the executive team.
Manages end-to-end data projects, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.
Proactively identifies challenges and proposes solutions based on data analysis.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies, models, reports, and procedures across operations, market research, and technology solutions.
In this position, you will partner with other departments to assist in building and implementing business processes and tools that help us make sense of our data and analytics from our clients and products.
You will also be working with data experimentation and design, client insights, and product development.
Conduct in-depth analysis of business trends and challenges, addressing the complexities of healthcare and mental-therapy delivery and policy dynamics through data-driven problem-solving and cross-functional solution implementation.
Lead the implementation of product analytics initiatives, establishing analytical frameworks and measurement capabilities to generate data-driven insights for business growth.
Spearhead the evolution of our innovation approach through testing strategy, tooling, workflow improvements, and more.
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product and data analytics.
Support the Executive and Leadership teams in the creation and delivery of data and insights for the Board of Directors, outside investors, and potential partners.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in data science, data analytics, business analytics, statistics, computer science, or any related STEM field.
7+ years of experience leading a data analytics function
6+ years of experience in a high-growth startup environment
Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred- preferably within the mental therapy space.
Expert in SQL and can write complex transformations with confidence
Strong understanding of Kimball dimensional modeling and other data warehousing concepts
Proficient in building compelling visualizations in a BI tool such as Hex
Experience in a cloud data warehouse (e.g. Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery) is preferred
Familiarity with a cloud ecosystem (AWS preferred) and how services work together
Experience with Python for data science or data engineering is preferred
Comfortable using git in an enterprise setting
Familiarity with data modeling in dbt or a desire to learn quickly
Relevant work experience in business operations, insights, analytics, or strategy with deep exposure to data science, preferably in a rigorous analytical role.
A comprehensive technical background encompassing production data products experimentation advanced metrics and modeling including proficiency and machine learning.
Proven capability to transform conceptual ideas into operational prototypes and drive them to production with a discerning judgment to balance long-term impact and short-term goals.
Exceptional skills in problem framing, strategic thinking, and communication demonstrating an ability to convey insights effectively to diverse stakeholders.
Proven ability to dive into and understand big, complicated data sets - both structured and unstructured - showing a keen interest in exploring the details and context of the data.
Outstanding communication skills to influence teams and stakeholders at a strategic level.
Ability to influence cross-functionally, lead effectively, think creatively, and translate research into insights by illustrating their value.
$130,000 - $150,000 a year
