Marketing Intern

(Since this is an early startup, this is an unpaid role for the time being and will last for 3 months. If the app is successful and/or we acquire funding and there is a good fit, this can turn into a paid role.)Company DescriptionResonate is an anonymous chatting app for readers to connect and chat about books. Without names, profiles, followers, or friends, Resonate focuses solely on book discussions. Users input the book they want to discuss, wait for a match, and start chatting. It is a platform for readers to engage over their shared passion.Role DescriptionThis is an internship role at Resonate and it is part-time and remote. The Marketing / Social Media Intern will be responsible for tasks such as developing marketing and branding strategy, conducting market research, social media management, content creation, and customer service.Qualifications• Communication and Customer Service skills• Market Research and Marketing Strategy skills• Creativity and Design skills• Ability to work remotely and independently• Strong organizational and time management skills• Past experience in marketing, design, content creation, or social media managementPreferred Qualification• Prior experience in a marketing role or managing a social media account• An interest in reading and books (not must-have)
