The primary purpose of this position is to support the overall SAP E1/P2 Notification process related to a high volume of vegetation events that arise throughout the SCE service territory. Gather data, conduct data analysis for contractor mitigation and reporting. Support/gather data related to requests received from claims, law department, compliance, and audits.

- This position will assign, schedule, research, track, and complete notifications and will provide support to ensure compliance with governmental regulations and standards. This person will work closely with multiple groups to ensure they have the tools and data to accurately receive and record their work, utilizing and processing data from multiple sources and databases. Support upcoming system testing as Vegetation Management evolves into a new enterprise resource system.
- Responsible for supporting the assigning, scheduling, and completing notifications/emergent work and follow up based on Vegetation Management internal metrics
- Conduct data analysis, gather data in preparation for daily/weekly/monthly monitoring and reporting
- Monitor and ensure all notifications in the queue are assigned to the specific external pre-inspector and tree trimming contractors
- Perform gatekeeping functions via SAP to review/approve E1/P2 notifications
- Collaborate closely with Vegetation Management Senior Specialists, VM Management, district personnel, Customer Service personnel, multiple external contractors that are mitigating the risk, and other internal/external entities.
- Actively engage and facilitate meetings with multiple contractors to track/monitor work progression
- All other duties as assigned – supporting the trouble order process, structure brushing process, customer contact information process
Qualifications
The essentials
- Three or more years of experience reviewing, analyzing and processing requests and data from multiple sources and databases.
The preferred
- Experience in supporting team of contractors and managing, scheduling and follow up with internal and external contractors for notifications.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel performing intermediate functions such as creating pivot tables, filtering/sorting, and VLOOKUP’s.
- One or more years of experience working with an Enterprise Resource System (ERP).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience at a utility, utility contractor, or company assigning tracking, and completing notifications or orders.
- Experience working with SAP and OMS
- Experience working in a fast paced and highly demanding work environment.
- Excellent problem solving, data analytics, reporting analysis, and issue resolution skills.
- Ability to prioritize, track status and provide management with reports.

- Work Mode: When a return-to-office date has been determined, this position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
