We are currently looking for a Restaurant General Manager to join our Team!
The General Manager is a coach and mentor to their team and makes it priority to develop direct reports of the venue. The General Manager is responsible for instilling a culture of hospitality and excellent guest service, while overseeing the efficient and profitable operational success of their venue through planning & strategy, labor/scheduling, decision making, process improvement, and quality focus.
Ensures all Lucky Strike standards, policies and procedures are adhered to. Ensures that guest satisfaction is a number one priority of the venue team. Maintains personal integrity by abiding to and supporting Lucky Strike's Mission Statement and Core Values principals through leadership, positive attitude and with joyful energy.
Essential Responsibilities
The General Manager’s duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
People
· Directly manages, develops and coaches the Assistant General Manager, Senior & Unit Managers, Games & Redemption Manager, Bowl Mechanic, and Kitchen Manager/Executive Chef
· Oversees the recruitment and selection of a high performing venue management team
· Oversees the recruitment and hiring of all hourly staff; monitors payroll processing
· Oversees the ongoing training and development of the management team; successful GM’s have the ability to recognize individual’s strengths and opportunities, can coach and develop those individual skills. members and has the ability to recognize individual strengths and growth opportunities
· Facilitates weekly manager meetings to ensure proper communication between all departments, including Regional teams, Home Office, etc.
· Partners with the Regional VP to develop internal succession plans and build a bench of future leaders at all levels of store operations
· Ensures a positive and productive work environment for all team members and management by championing the Company’s culture and Core Values
· Maintains an “Open Door” policy, conducts regular staff meetings, and ensures daily pre-shift and post-shift sessions occur
Product
· Ensures guest experience and satisfaction by adhering to the Company’s Hospitality Mantra
· Ensures that all product meets Lucky Strike high quality standards and guest expectations; Ensures our food and service are consistent with recipes, plating and service standards, and health department requirements
· Ensures impeccable guest experience and satisfaction and identifies opportunities for enhancement
· Maintains the physical elements and atmosphere of the venue (i.e. music, lighting, temperature, cleanliness, line of sight, repair & maintenance of the “FFE” - furniture, fixtures, and equipment) and ensures any games and entertainment features are also maintained, kept clean, and operating properly
· Ensures that Standard Operating Procedures are upheld in accordance to Lucky Strike standards
· Ensures that all Lucky Strike marketing and promotional programs are implemented and executed to Company standards
Profitability
· Responsible for overall financial health of the venue; ensures that Food and Beverage COGs, controllable expenses and labor costs are within budgetary guidelines
· Participates in preparing the venue’s annual budget and ensures that venue budgetary goals are achieved
· Works to build business through community involvement, marketing and networking
· Monitors labor cost and team member scheduling on a pre-shift basis according to budgetary goals, while maintaining appropriate staffing levels to ensure quality guest experience
· Ensures cash handling policies and procedures are adhered to (i.e. safe counts, petty cash, and bank drops)
· Approves venues purchases and works with the appropriate departments for additional approvals
· Assists in developing financial fluency with the venue management team; ensures the team is knowledgeable of the venue’s financial performance, budgets, goals, and action items to make a positive impact on the bottom line
· Oversees and participates in weekly and monthly inventory; prepares bi-weekly COGs report in a timely and accurate manner

Minimum Qualifications
· Minimum 5 years management experience in the Hospitality and/or Entertainment industry
· Successful track record of managing a high volume, multi-faceted, and fast paced operations
· Strong financial and P&L responsibilities experience
· Equivalent combination of the education and experience
· Basic knowledge of Legal and HR issues consistent with the hospitality industry (Federal, state and local laws regarding liquor, labor and health codes/statutes)
· Technologically and computer savvy
