Join our dynamic team as a Senior Technical Accounting Manager! In this role, you'll play a crucial part in shaping our accounting practices while collaborating with diverse teams across the organization. You’ll dive into the intricacies of US GAAP accounting, researching and documenting the impacts of new transactions and ensuring our financial reporting is top-notch.
You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with external auditors, guiding technical accounting determinations and navigating policy changes. Your expertise will be key in implementing new accounting standards and policies, while also leading the accounting for M&A transactions and ensuring all complexities are accurately documented.

How you'll add value: - Research and document the US GAAP accounting and reporting impact of new or unusual transactions in the form of white papers; work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting related to such topics.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams as part of the operational and technical implementation of new agreements or transactions.
- Direct interaction with external auditors, including key contact for technical accounting determinations and policy changes.
- Assist with the implementation of new accounting standards and company policies as well as assessing the accounting impact and developing new workpapers and processes.
- Lead the accounting for M&A transactions including acquisition, coordination with valuation professionals, development of the purchase price allocation and ensuring all complex accounting matters are appropriately documented.
- Review significant vendor agreements and evaluate the impact
- Develop and maintain effective internal controls
- Ad hoc projects, analysis and reporting as required by management
- Occasional travel may be required
What you'll need to be successful in this role: - BS or master’s degree in accounting; CPA required
- 8+years or more of accounting experience, preferably including experience with a Big 4 accounting firm or relevant industry technical accounting experience
- Accounting advisory and/or US GAAP public company experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to quickly assess the accounting and reporting implications of complex transactions
- Demonstrated ability to research technical accounting matters and prepare well-written memorandums and presentations articulating these matters
- Strong knowledge of revenue recognition, consolidation, investments and accounting for business combinations
- Must possess excellent verbal, written and people skills
- Must bring a firsthand, action-oriented approach, with the ability to prioritize and deliver timely results in a fast-moving environment with a wide variety of strategic initiatives
- Exhibits pride of ownership and sets and adheres to uncompromising quality standards for deliverables
- Superior attention to detail
- An individual comfortable working independently while actively seeking guidance when necessary
- Experience using Intacct and Workiva is preferred
R365 Team Member Benefits & Perks - This position has a salary range of $165,000-$190,000. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location.
