Job Description


As Lead Training Specialist, you will provide customers with the knowledge and skills to effectively use our products, minimizing the time it takes for them to realize the maximum value, while leading and setting the example for other instructors. You will both create and deliver content in both live and self-paced modes to meet their particular needs on a variety of products. As a customer-facing role, and your skills and demeanor have a direct effect on their perception of Revalize, influencing their attachment and continued use of our products. As such, the successful candidate will have a positive attitude, be comfortable presenting live and in recordings, and effective communication and listening skills. As a lead role, many of those same attributes carry over to be successful.  
 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead team in the design, development, and delivery of content, curriculum, and successful learning experiences for our customers and industry partners using a variety of methods and media 
  • Consult with customers to understand the target audience(s) and identify learning needs appropriately 
  • Engage with Product Development and Customer Success efforts and update/ devise/ develop training courses and content to keep offerings fresh and relevant 
  • Communicate with students before and after training sessions to help ensure a smooth and overall positive training experience 
  • Acquire familiarity with the company's product suite to holistically comprehend learners’ interactions and responses to content when transmitted via a range of delivery methods 
  • Oversee and maintain project documentation and perform related administrative tasks (scheduling, quoting, customer issue resolution), assisting and guiding other instructors as needed  

Qualifications

 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication (English) skills 
  • Professional presence with the ability to listen to, understand and present to customers 
  • Curiosity to grow depth of knowledge of Revalize products and customer use cases to develop expertise customers recognize and value 
  • Technical aptitude and comfort working with various software products 
  • Ability and willingness to travel on occasion to deliver on-site training 
  • Strong facilitation, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to use discretion and independent judgment in matters of significance with customers 
  • Previous leadership role / experience 

Preferred 

  • History of positive customer engagement and interaction 
  • 1-3 years of experience in content development and/or training program design and development 
  • Commercial teaching experience 
  • Experience in manufacturing and product configuration 
  • Ability to edit and write effective copy, instructional text, audio, and video scripts with tools such as MS Office, Snagit, and Articulate 
  • Visual design skills
