Revenue Cycle Management Analyst - job 1 of 2

We're looking for a RCM Analyst to help us accomplish our mission to improve lives by learning from the experience of every cancer patient. Here's what you need to know about the role, our team and why Flatiron Health is the right next step in your career. 

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll work with the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Team as the first point of contact for our customers to deliver a fantastic end-to-end customer experience. You will support the different RCM processes by triaging cases, troubleshooting issues through to resolution, and working collaboratively with internal teams as needed. You will also:

  • Collaborate with client counterparts on day-to-day operational questions/resolutions; Establish rapport with customers and ensure that their questions and concerns are resolved timely and are clearly documented
  • Support process and workflow monitoring across all RCM processes; Work with our service delivery teams to implement modifications or new workflows
  • Utilize data and analytical resources to quickly diagnose and resolve issues; Ensure they are transferred to the appropriate team for follow up if required
  • Compile and monitor operational revenue cycle reporting to identify risks and/or opportunities
  • Clearly communicate progress and risks to a Flatiron Engagement Manager
  • Identify and support obtaining internal IT/Access needs for day to day operations
  • Support the creation and maintenance of project and customer documentation 
  • Work independently and as part of a team

Who You Are

You're excited by the prospect of rolling up your sleeves to tackle meaningful problems each and every day. You’re a kind, passionate and collaborative problem-solver who seeks and gives candid feedback, and values the chance to make an important impact. 

  • You have 1-3 years healthcare experience with billing/revenue cycle management technology, process improvement, and/or workflow implementations
  • A self-starter who is able to take initiative and ownership of projects
  • You have exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
  • You are well organized, detail oriented, and able to prioritize and multitask
  • You are motivated to work in a fast-paced environment
  • You have proficient computer and Microsoft Excel skills
  • You are able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • You have a bachelor’s degree

Extra Credit

  • You are proficient with analysis and visualization tools like Microsoft Access, Tableau, Looker, and/or SQL
  • You have experience within the oncology billing/revenue cycle industry
  • You are familiar with online insurance portals, clearing houses, and insurance guidelines/policies
