Staff Accounting Consultant

As a Staff Accounting Consultant, you will support the month-end close process, perform financial reporting and audit compliance, and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy. What you will work on... • Support month-end close process, including maintaining the general ledger and sub-ledgers, reviewing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations and analyzing account variances • Communicate and follow up with business partners to ensure that open/outstanding issues are resolved in a timely manner • Ensure appropriate accounting treatment in accordance with US GAAP • Support in the preparation and analysis of monthly and quarterly reports, as well as the review of policies and procedures to ensure SOX compliance, etc. • Help identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements What you will bring • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field required • Master’s Degree preferred • CPA, CMA, CIA or CFE preferred • 0-5+ years of related experience • Public accounting, related consulting or industry experience preferred • Knowledge of US GAAP • Experience with large ERP systems and strong MS Office technical skills, specifically with MS Excel • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills, with a strong orientation to client service, time management, and project delivery What you can expect • Variety of workplace arrangements including hybrid, remote, onsite. • Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors. • Pay range: $45 - $60 hr • Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, Disability insurance, 401(k) savings plan, Employee Stock Purchase plan, Professional development program, Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Time (in geographies where legally required) • An inspirational place for you to do your best work, be engaged in meaningful ways, and continually develop the skills, competencies, and qualities that set our team apart.
