POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for maximizing the hygiene, new patient and production schedules to ensure practice is meeting and exceeding daily production goals
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage scheduling according to appointment scheduling guidelines to ensure all hours are scheduled efficiently and to the daily goal for each provider.
- Monitor schedule daily to maintain efficiency, limit patient wait times and maximize same day treatment.
- Communicating directly with providers about their specific schedule preferences.
- Fielding incoming calls with a high level of professionalism and impeccable customer service skills.
- Confirm appointments according to office guidelines.
- Manage unscheduled list, asap list, treatment pending list, to ensure patient follow through to meet scheduling goals.
- Back up support for answering incoming calls to include, new patient calls, emergencies, scheduling patient appointments, requesting records, and follow up.
- Educate and consult patients discussing treatment needs and presenting treatment plans & FINANCING options confidently.
- Make pre-treatment financial arrangements with patients.
- Document patient dental treatments and financial transactions, to include signing of financial arrangements, prepayments for large cases, financing, and charges collection.
- Increase and stimulate new patient growth by supporting marketing and promotional programs, to include recall cards, continuing care calls, referral letters, and working with referrals.
- Create month end reports and forecast monthly goals for the office and providers. (Or is this something Valorie will do)
- Communicate patient issues or concerns timely to the OM.
Welcoming/greeting patients with a welcoming, professional, and polished demeanor - Ability to multi-task and skillfully manage priorities under pressure (ex: patients walking in, phones ringing, etc.)

- General office duties and other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years previous dental experience a must
- Must be available to train in office
- Must be available to work Mondays-Thursdays from 8:00am-5:00pm and Fridays from 8:00am-2:00pm
- Passing of satisfactory credit check
- HS Diploma or higher
- Ability to work in fast paced work environment and under pressure
- Ability to work independently and effectively remotely
- Must exhibit ethical conduct & confidentiality
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong computer skills, Eaglesoft and/or Denticon knowledge is a plus
- Outstanding organization skills
- Ability to demonstrate independent thinking as well as a teamwork approach to job responsibilities.
- Exemplary customer service and interpersonal skills
- Effective communication abilities
- Ability to work well in a team environment. Being able to triage priorities, delegate tasks if needed, and handle conflict in a reasonable fashion.
