Rigger Leaderman

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assisting Barge Foreman and Rigger Foreman in supervising project work operations, via deck crew
• Assist in supervising the daily tasks of the rigging crew
• Assist in ensuring that all activities are undertaken in accordance with all safety and quality requirements
• Distribution of rigging crews for above deck activities
• Assist in the loading and unloading of supply vessels, by way of radios
• Dogs deck cranes and derrick cranes, as required
• Continuously monitor rigging equipment being used and remove from service any found defective
• Responsible for refusing unsafe work and for carrying out all work in accordance with the established HSES Safety standards and Work practices
• Following all company policies and procedures, and ensuring subordinates do the same.

Essential Qualifications and Education:

• High school graduate
• 2 years experience in offshore construction industry
• 2 years previous experience as a Rigger
